On 11 July 2023, Network Rail and South Western Railway celebrated the 175th anniversary of Waterloo station with guests from across the rail industry and a series of events throughout the day: railway staff choir performance, speeches, plaque unveiling and preview of Arterio train, the new fleet of commuter train on the South Western Railway.

This badge was collected to represent the initiatives commemorating Waterloo station 175th anniversary. It joins other objects in our collections illustrating the railway commemorative culture.
