When we started to carry our music around with us, headphones were essential to make sure we could hear the sounds. At first headphones were chunky and had to be plugged in. But by the mid-2020s we were wearing tiny, discreet earbuds. The carry case for these earbuds also contained a battery which could recharge the earbuds so that they could be used for longer. This particular model is Apples second-generation of Airpods, the AirPods 2. Released in 2019, they introduced longer talk time and hands-free "Hey Siri" support for users.
