Frame for 'Magnetic river' demonstration, a linear electric motor combining levitation and propulsion, devised by Professor Eric Laithwaite and built c.1970. Consists of 4 A-shaped frame sections on castors (1A,1B, 2A, 2B) , 4 straight bracings, and 1 cross bracing.
