Moving iron galvanometer, Crompton Parkinson Ltd, England, 1955. Portable instrument with grip handle and trigger. This opens a spring claw. In between is a detachable meter with a curved scale ranging from '0' to '200' amperes. When removing a rod us revealed fixed to the back of it. This is connected to the moving iron and fits in between the tongs. There is a second scale that can be fitted if required ranging from '0' to '50'.

Crompton Parkinson tong test ammeter

Portable galvanometer, moving iron, Crompton Parkinson tong test ammeter in carry case. With grip handle and trigger which opens a sprung clamp enabling a cable to fit into the hole in the centre and give off a reading on the meter. This is set below the claw and has a curved scale ranging from '0.5' to '20' amperes with a moving iron mechanism. In the centre of the instrument is a screw head that can adjust the needle setting. Patent no 233808124. 247663/27.

Light bulb circuit tester

Light bulb circuit tester, electric circuit tester. At one end of a cable in a transparent tube containing the fuse on top of which is the probe protected by a sprung cover. The other end of the cable consists of a larger see-through cylinder with a bottle neck top of which is another probe with sprung cover. Inside a horseshoe socket for a light bulb can be seen.
