Prototype MS4 respiratory Mass Spectrometer, 1956, comprising blue metal wheeled cabinet with grilles in side panels. Control panel on cabinet contains four gauges and various switches and dials. Blue metal panel from the machine has been removed and internal workings are visible at the rear. Tube wrapped around base of cabinet. The panels attached to the machine, and the one that has been removed, all have a grey metal grille at the top.
