Homeopathic medicine bottle (Cina)

Small cylindrical clear glass medicine bottle with a pouring lip and a cork stopper. The bottle bears a rectangular label from ‘John Keene, 74 New Bond Street, London W.’, inscribed by hand with ‘Cina’, 'for worms', a date and additional prescription information. A second rectangular printed label reads: ‘From Allshorn & Co.'s Homœopathic Laboratory, 7 Dalston Lane, opposite Dalston Junction.’ The bottle contains a brown sediment. From an English walnut homeopathic medicine chest dating to c. 1860-1920.
