A cervical cap is a barrier contraceptive. It is inserted by a woman before sex. The cap sits over the cervix. It acts as a barrier to sperm entering the uterus. Cervical caps come in different sizes and material including rubber, plastic and metal. This cap was developed by a Dr Rauh. It is made of aluminium and inscribed with ‘Rauh’s Vetovit, size 0’.
