A collection of black and white photographic prints of working steam locomotives. Many of the photographs were taken in the North West by Mr Pearson himself. The photographs cover a number of years and feature locomotives in railway company liveries as well as in British Rail livery after nationalisation. There are a small number of photographs of Beyer Peacock and Beyer Garratt locomotives taken at the Gorton works, prior to delivery to customers. Collection of Photographic Prints of Steam Locomotives
