Richard England (Salford) Ltd

Richard England (Salford) Ltd grew out of a previous company: James Parrott, Engineer, Salford. James Parrott had manufactured hydraulic presses from his premises on Brown St, Salford. The presses were used during the process of manufacturing calender bowls for the textile industry and paper manufacturing. Mr Parrott's daughter married Richard England, after which James Parrott transferred ownership to his son-in-law. The name of the company was then changed to Richard England (Salford) Ltd.
