Metropolitan - Vickers Electrical Co. Ltd. - Gas Turbine Engineering Department report on Trailing & Run-Down Characterstics of the Gatric Engine Fitted in M.G.B2009. The report deals with the power absorption of the GI power turbine, as found by direct measurement and also by deduction from measurements on the rate of deceleration of the propellor shaft; and in the deceleration measurements provided some data useful in connection with the design of reversing gearboxes.
