Vaughan, Frederick 1934

Frederick Vaughan joined Mather & Platt Ltd as an apprentice draughtsman at Mather & Platt Ltd in 1951. His first year training was as a fitter, before going on to train in the drawing office.

He continued to work for the company after serving his time as an apprentice. He became a section leader before moving onto special project work. He also worked on the development of dyeing and finishing processes in the textile industry. From 1976 to 1984, he worked at the company's Radcliffe site, prior to the company closing in 1984.
