Berry & Bentley

In 1933 Johnny Berry and Bill Bentley opened a cycle shop in Rusholme Manchester. Bentley managed the shop while Berry focused on frame building. At least 471 Berry & Bentley frames were built by Johnny Berry from 1933 until the mid 1940s. The bulk of Berry & Bentley frames were made before the onset of the Second World War in 1939.

In 1946, Johnny Berry and his wife Ida Berry opened their own cycle shop in Rusholme.
