International Linotype Limited 1909 - 1960

Nationality:
British

Originally established in order to hold and deal in shares, stocks, debentures, stock bonds, obligations and securities issued or guaranteed by any company constituted or carrying on business in the United Kingdom. The company was a vehicle by which shares between the two companies Merganthaler Linotype Company of New York and the Linotype and Machinery Limited could be exchanged. This was done due to shares being valued in United States Dollars and British Sterling.
