Jardine Skinner & Co
Trading company formed in Bombay in 1825 and later reformed in Calcutta in 1844. The company traded initially in textiles but later branched out into opium, tea, timber and petroleum. Their agents in Glasgow were James Ewing & Co., and their agents in Manchester were Matheson & Scott.
In 1946 Jardine Skinner merged with George Henderson to form Jardine Henderson.
