Northside

English alternative rock band from north Manchester. They were formed in 1989 and consisted of a line-up of Warren Dermody (vocals), Clifford Ogier (bass), Michael Upton (guitar) and Paul Walsh (drums). Upton was replaced by Timmy Walsh before the release of their first single.

Their only album, Chicken Rhythms, was released on Factory Records in 1991. The band split up after Factory Records declared bankruptcy in 1992. Several members of the band have since produced other music in various other guises over the years.
