(fl 1879-1882) Submarine Cable Jointer

Thomas William Bowden was a submarine cable jointer active in 1880. He has noted laying of the Zanzibar - Aden section of the Durban - Aden cable, 1879-80, from the ships Calabria, Scotia and Kangaroo, and general cable work for the Eastern Telegraph Co.
