Ropeways Ltd, succeeded by Ropeways Syndicate, was founded by John Pearce Roe. In 1920 Harrison Roe was the company director. In 1924 the company changed the address of its London offices from Eldon-street House, South-place, E. C. I, to Aldwych House, Aldwych, W.C. 2.
