The Agricultural Biotechnology Council (abc), comprising of six member companies, works with the food chain and research community to invest in crop technologies. These are designed to tackle challenges such as pests, diseases and the changing climate whilst dealin with other envrionmental factors

These companies are; BASF, Bayer, Dow AgroSciences, Monsanto, Pioneer (DuPont) and Syngenta.
