De Havilland Propellers Ltd

De Havilland Propellers was established in 1935 as a division of the de Havilland Aircraft company after it had acquired a licence to manufacture variable pitch propellers. The company was incorporated in 1946 and was based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire the main production plant was based at Lostock in Lancashire.

The company later became part of Hawker Siddeley Dynamics which eventually itself became part of BAe Systems.
