Originally the Food Machinery Department of Mather & Platt based at a factory in Radcliffe from the 1930s onwards. It became M&P (Engineering) Ltd becoming a member of the Fraberry Group of companies between 1986 and 2003 after which it reverted to M & P (Engineering) Ltd based at premises located in Trafford Park.
