Textile and/or wallpaper designer, active c1914-1940. Worked for E. Pilkington & Co. Manchester from c.1928-c.1940. According to his widow, he sought inspiration for his designs from contemporary gardening magazines and used a kaleidoscope to experiment with repeat effects in the designs.
