‘Aircraft Engineering' was launched in 1929 as a technical magazine published for the British aircraft industry. It featured a wide array of features on technical subjects and in-depth articles on all aspects of aero-engineering, illustrating and explaining the design features of the latest aircraft. During the 1960s the magazine became much more technical. It continues as an international journal which provides a broad coverage of the research and applications of materials and techniques employed in the aircraft and aerospace industries.
