The Ryburn Press
The Ryburn Press was established in Halifax and is known to have been active as a publisher during the 1980s and 1990s. It published historical and radical texts, including historian William Woodruff’s autobiography “The Road to Nab End” in 1993 and the Town and City Histories series of books that included Alan Kidd’s “Manchester”, published in 1989. It was absorbed by the publisher Little, Brown sometime after 1993.
