Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Tramwegen (MET), The Company for the Operation of Tramways, was a Dutch tramway company founded on 27th November 1891 in The Hague. It operated steam trams on a number of routes around the Hague, Gouda and Haarlam.

On 26th September 1893 it took over the ownership of IJsel Stoomtramweg-Maatschappij (IJSM), the Ijsel Steam Tramway Company, although they had taken over the operations of its routes in the previous years.

It continued to operate until 1st January 1946 when it became part of N.V. Electrische Spoorweg-Maatschappij (ESM) Electric Railway Company, which then changed its name to Noord-Zuid-Hollandsche Vervoer Maatschappij, North-South Holland Transport Company.
