Mega Models Ltd

Mega Models Ltd of Bolton was a shop selling models, known to have been operational between 1945 and 2007. The company was a small business, with firstly Roy Lever, then Ryan Lever as its Directors.

The shop was promoted as 'selling everything the modeller needs', and its owner believed it also made the only only commercially available British built PCM Radio system, the eight-channel Merlin 'with Parachute Recovery System and Failsafe.'

In addition to selling models, the company had a manufacturing plant, which produced Jet-X models and fuels. Megamodels also ran an 'Academy School of Model Flying' to encourage those new to the hobby.

Megamodels is known to have sold goods online by 2007, but despite this move the company appears to have stopped trading in that year.
