Bevis Hillier

Bevis Hilllier is an art historian, author and journalist. Hilllier was educated at Reigate Grammer School, before studying at Magdalen College, University of Oxford.

His journalism career included working at The Times and The Telegraph. He has authored several books on design, art history and literary figures such as G.K. Chesterton and John Betjeman.

His other activities include co-founding and serving as the first Chairman of the Thirties Society, now known as the Twentieth Century Society. He has also been the President of the Betjeman Society.
