Fullers Earth Union was registered as a company on 21st March 1890 and took over works in Redhill and Bath. It also ran plant in Arkansas between 1911 and 1922 but these were the victim of decreasing US trade after which the company's focus moved to Britain. In 1954 it was acquired by Laporte.
