(1936 – 1994) Computer Engineer

Born in 1936 James Robert Lucking was a computer engineer who worked on the KDF9 design team for English Electric and later International Computers Limited. He had joined the Nelson Research Laboratory programming group in 1956 and would later go on to work at the ICL Kidsgrove site. He died on 11th November 1994 at the age of 58.
