British Aerospace (Space Systems) Ltd was a wholly owned subsidiary of British Aerospace PLC. It was formed in 1988 and was responsible of all of the companies space activities, including satellite communications and its launcher programmes. It was based at sites in Bristol and Stevenage, and operated until 1994 when it was sold to Matra Marconi Space.
