The World Information Service on Energy (WISE) in an anti-nuclear group founded in 1978. Sales of the Smiling Sun were used to start up the organisation. They aim to be an information and networking organisation for people and organisations concerned about nuclear power. They advocate for safe, sustainable solutions to energy such as energy efficiency and renewable energy.

WISE has been affiliated with the Nuclear Information and Resource Service (NIRS) since 2001.

They are headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
