Uranium Institute

The Uranium Institue was founded in 1975. Its aim was to promote the exchange of information and the building of relationships between international nuclear power organisations.

It created three committees, the Supply and Demand Committee, the Committee on International Trade, and the Committee on Nuclear Energy and Public Acceptance, who met three times a year. They also had an information service which had a library, and was available as an information source internationally. The Institute also had its own publications, and they held an annual symposium where such papers were presented.

It was headquartered in London, UK.
