Keystone Press Agency

The Keystone View Company established a press agency in London in 1918, also called Keystone View Company. It was run by Bert Garai and based at 12 Wine Office Court, Fleet Street until it moved to 4-7 Red Lion Court Fleet Street in the early 1940s. In 1938, the stamps on the back of their photographs changed from 'Keystone View Company' to 'Keystone Press Agency Ltd', although this name appears at least a decade before then. Keystone Press Agency became one of the leading press agencies on Fleet Street. Notable photographers employed by the company included Ron Case and Fred Ramage.

Keystone Press was acquired by Photo Source in the mid-1980s. The business closed in 1987. The Hulton-Deutsch Collection, now a part of Getty ImagesPhoto Source, subsequently acquired Photo Source.
