Museo artistico-industriale e le scuole d'arte applicata all'industria
The Industrial Artistic Museum was founded in Rome in 1874. It collected handmade articles (glasses, ceramics, sculptures, painted fabrics, plaster casts, and photographs) from ancient times to the seventeenth century. At the same time it was a training school for qualified craftsmen, thus combining the theoretic and the experimental phases. When the Museum closed in 1957, its collections were d moved to various museums in Rome.
