The Grand Duchy of Baden (Grossherzogtum Baden) was a state in south-west Germany on the east bank of the Rhine. It was a sovereign state between 1806 and 1871 and was part of the German Empire from 1871 until 1918. The division of ministries did not always remain constant and its Ministry of Commerce or Trade lasted from 1861 to 1881.
