Fachschule für Marmor-Industrie

The Fachschule für Marmor-Industrie (technical school for the marble industry) of the Handels-Ministeriums (Ministry of Commerce) in Laas, Tyrol, now in Ital, was founded in 1873 by Johannes Steinhäuser. It took its first students in 1879, initally as the "K.k. Fachschule für Steinbearbeitung", th KK Technical School for Stone Processing. The technical schoolwas moved to Bolzano in 1911 and closed there in 1930.
