Société industrielle de Mulhouse

The Industrial Society of Mulhouse was was founded in 1826 and "was born from the desire to stimulate and develop the entrepreneurial spirit that the great industrialists of Mulhouse had at the time. Throughout the 19th century, the Société Industrielle de Mulhouse was to be the laboratory of ideas where the “Mulhouse model” was developed, this unique convergence between industry, research and education." The Society still still exists.
