Königlich Bayerischen Akademie der bildenden Künste
Royal Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts(Königlich Bayerischen Akademie der bildenden Künste) in Munich was founded in 1808 by King Maximilian I of Bavaria. In addition to its role as a training facility, the academy soon also became an artists' society where landscape painters set the stylistic trend for the development of the Munich School. In the mid-19th century, the Munich Academy had a leading global reputation.
