Königliche Industrielschule zu München

The Royal Industrial School in Munich was founded in 1868 and closed on 31 August 1908. Its objective was to prepare students before they proceeded to more advanced institutions by ensuring that they only received theoretical and practical instruction that is absolutely necessary for his or her particular industrial profession. The school was divided into three main areas of higher technical industry: 1) a mechanical-technical one; 2) a chemical-technical one; and 3) a construction-technical department.
