Air Training Corps 1036 (Bury) Squadron
The Air Training Corps 1036 (Bury) Squadron is a voluntary youth organisation supported by the RAF. The squadron is part of the national Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Its purpose is to provide progressive training, which includes formal lectures as well as hands on training and experience in flying, gliding, sport, aviation, adventure training and more. The Bury squadron was formed in 1941 in order to help supply high-quality recruits to the RAF in the Second World War.
