Sutcliffe Ventilating & Drying Co Ltd was established by Maurice Sutcliffe in 1898 at Cathedral Corner, Fennel St, Manchester and incorporated as a limited company in 1903. The company manufactured machinery used in the ventilation of buildings and in drying textiles, including drying and conveying machinery, steam absorption machinery, and fans for hot air drying, textile dust collecting, pneumatic conveying, and steam absorption and extraction, supplying to industry.
