Lipton Teas and Infusions

Lipton Teas and Infusions originated as 'Ekaterra', a division within Unilever formed in 2020. Unilever had acquired the Lipton Tea business in a series of aquisitions between 1938 and 1972. In 2022 the private equity firm CVC Capital Partners bought out the division, which was then renamed Lipton Teas and Infusions. The company manufactures the Lipton, Brooke Bond, PG Tips, Pukka, Tazo, Red Rose Tea, Laojee and Salada brands, amongst others, except in India, Nepal and Indonesia where the brands are retained by Unilever. Unilever also retained its Lipton Iced Tea brand, manufactured in partnership with PepsiCo.
