Margaret Dove was born Margaret Chadwick, daughter of Roy Chadwick, Chief Designer of Avro, and his wife Mary Chadwick in 1923. She married John Dove in 1944 and had two children. Margaret Dove became very involved with the avaition heritage world and with documenting her father's achievements. She was the Honorary President of the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association, the Nanton Lancaster Society, Alberta, Canada, and the Lancaster Support Club of Canadian Warplane Heritage.
