Railtrack (UK) Limited

Railtrack (UK) Limited was established as a subsidiary of Railtrack Group PLC, owned by Railtrack (Holdings) Limited, in June 1998. It own an investment in Union Railways (South) Limited which managed the construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) Section 1. Due to this investment it was able to appoint directors and considered Union Railways as a subsidiary.

The company was contracted to purchase the section of the CTRL that Union Railways (South) was constructing and it carried this out in November 2003. By this time the company had been acquired by London and Continental Railways and changed its name to CTRL (UK) Limited.

In November 2008 the company was acquired by HS1 Limited.
