Victor X-ray Corporation 1893 - 1930

1893 - founded by C F Samms and J B Wantz as the Victor Electric Company in Chicago, Illinois. By 1896 - producing electrostatic generators and electrotherapeutic devices. By 1913 - sole manufacturer of the Coolidge tube in the United States. 1926 - acquired by General Electric. 1930 - became General Electric X-ray Corporation
