Name given to succeed the Folmer-Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak after Kodak was ordered to sell the division by a court. There were no buyers so it was formed as a new company, Folmer Graflex Corporation. In 1946, the name was changed to Graflex Inc and then in 1963 was sold to the Singer Corporation, before finally being dissolved in 1973.
