Edgar Hermann Joseph Schuster 1879 - 1969

Educated at New College, Oxford, and University College London under Francis Galton. Together they worked on 'Notable Families', a work that set out to 'prove' that intelligence was inherited. Schuster went on to work in the field of 'eugenics', which at that point was described by Galton as 'the study of agencies under social control that may improve or impair the racial qualities of future generations either physically or mentally.’
