Manufacturer of live steam locomotives, stationary engines and toy magic lanterns; founded 1866; produced metal toy construction kits in the 1920s under the name 'EP Modello'; purchased by Schaller Brothers in 1935; Schaller largely abandoned toy manufacture and became Noris Projecktor, concentrating on home cine projection equipment; remained in business until 1965; they continued to use the Ernst Plank trade mark into the 1960s; business declined and production of projectors ceased in 1985; declared bankrupt in 1996.
