1809 - first satirical prints were published in the Gentleman's Magazine. 1815 - designed fifty-two plates for The Martial Achievements of Great Britain and her Allies. 1825–6 was in Scotland, writing and illustrating the first magazine in the world to be given over, predominantly, to caricatures, The Glasgow Looking Glass. 1827 - returned to London and started using the pseudonym Paul Pry. 1829 - abandoned using Paul Pry due to widespread plagiarism.
