1987 - FHC's prior name: 'Wisconsin Pharmacal Company' (WPC) is chosen by Chartex Limited (UK company), as the U.S. licensee for FC Female Condom. 1996 - WPC changes name to 'The Female Health Company' (FHC). FHC purchases Chartex and then owns worldwide rights to the Female Condom.
