Born in 1958, British artist Mike Stubbs works in film, video, mixed media-installations and performance. One of the main themes of his work is the exploration of culture, identity and status in our society. Stubbs was the Director of FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) 2007-2018 and has been Professor of Art, Media and Curation at Liverpool John Moores University since 2007. He is the Creative Producer at Doncaster Creates. He has been a key contributor to the development of culture and cultural policy in Liverpool.
